Inspections & Maintenance
A fire suppression system is an invaluable asset, ONLY if it is properly inspected and maintained. Fire suppression consists of highly mechanical systems that require constant monitoring and preventative maintenance. System types include standpipe, wet sprinkler (heated spaces only), dry sprinkler, deluge and pre-action systems. These systems can be fed from street level city water mains, gravity tanks and/or pressure tanks and can require electric or diesel fire pumps. Beyond system complexities, the likelihood of accidental contact or vandalism to critical valves, gauges and other components is probable which means a fire suppression systems are at constant risk of failure. However, following the national and local standards for inspection has proven to minimize system malfunction and failure, providing the critical level of protection necessary for persons and property. Our inspectors are trained to ensure that inspections are in compliance with the national standard of NFPA 25. As an inspection and consulting service, we work with our clients to ensure that only the required area of deficiencies are noted. We do not up-sell or advise unnecessary repairs or alterations.
